Hi! I'm Andy,

  • I make robots and love design, prototyping, and manufacturing

  • This website contains all my projects and cool stuff I've done

My journey into robotics began in high school, when I found I had a knack for metal fabrication which quickly became an obsession. I then began learning Fusion 360 and SolidWorks to help turn my ideas into reality through CNC machining and 3D Printing.

I am currently a Senior/Graduate student at WPI finishing my Masters and Bachelors in Robotics Engineering. I chose Robotics Engineering because I wanted to triple major in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science, and robotics is essentially all of those things in one focused program.

Recently, I have become interested in biologically inspired robotics, soft robotics, and robotic actuators, and I am trying to apply my experience in other areas to work on interesting research and personal projects. I am also very interested in space exploration and industrial robotics.

I love solving problems.

I also love to lift weights and do physical work. Many of the jobs I've had in these areas have taught me grit and patience, which have been invaluable to both my education and professional pursuits.
